Terms of Use

Last updated September 26, 2026. These terms govern your use of USDAExpressLoans.com. By using the Site, you agree to them.

Plain-English answers · 2-minute self-checks · Direct line to a licensed mortgage broker

Highlights

  • General education, not advice
  • “Express” means answers and access — not a loan product or timeline
  • No offer or commitment to lend
  • Not affiliated with USDA or Rural Development
  • Loans offered only where licensed

Your agreement

These Terms of Use cover your access to and use of USDAExpressLoans.com (the "Site"), operated by Matthew Brown, Sr. Loan Originator / Mortgage Broker. Using the Site means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy; if you don't, please don't use the Site. The terms may be updated by posting a revised version, and continued use after an update means you accept it.

What “Express” means here

The word “Express” in the Site's name refers only to three things: express answers (the short answer boxes that open each page), Express Checks (brief self-check tools that run in your browser), and an express line to Matthew (reaching a licensed mortgage broker directly rather than a call center).

“Express” is not a loan program, a kind of USDA loan, or any statement about how long underwriting, USDA review, appraisal, or closing will take. Timing depends on your file, the property, third parties, the lender, and USDA, and no timeline is promised.

Express Check results are general orientation based only on your answers. They are not a pre-qualification, pre-approval, eligibility determination, or credit decision.

Educational information, not advice or an offer

The Site offers general educational information about USDA-guaranteed mortgages and related topics. It isn't financial, legal, or tax advice and isn't tailored to you. Before making decisions, talk with the right licensed professionals — your loan originator, attorney, tax advisor, and real estate agent — and review official USDA resources.

No commitment to lend. Nothing on the Site is a loan approval, a commitment to lend, a rate lock, or an offer of credit. Every loan is subject to credit, income, household income limits, asset, property, location eligibility, and program guidelines and to underwriting and USDA approval. Guidelines can change without notice.

No affiliation with USDA or any government agency

The Site is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, USDA Rural Development, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Housing Administration, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, or any other government agency. Descriptions of government programs are based on publicly available information. For official information, see USDA Rural Development's Guaranteed Loan Program page.

Accuracy

Reasonable effort goes into keeping the content accurate, but completeness and currency aren't guaranteed. USDA guidelines, eligibility maps, income limits, guarantee fees, assistance programs, and lender requirements change, and content can fall out of date. Examples are illustrations only. Confirm the current rules for your situation before relying on anything here.
